Terms of Service & EULA
Effective date: July 2, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Baseball Tracker ("the App"), provided by Adelyons Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the "Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf (see Section 3).
2. AI Speed Estimates — Not a Certified Measuring Device
Baseball Tracker produces AI-generated estimates, not certified measurements. Pitch speed, bat/exit speed, sprint times, and all other metrics in the App are estimated by artificial-intelligence analysis of the video you provide. The App is not a radar gun, is not a calibrated or certified measurement instrument, and its output has not been validated by any sports-sanctioning, officiating, or standards body.
- Accuracy varies: Estimates depend on video quality, camera angle, distance, lighting, frame rate, and the AI model's interpretation. Results may be inaccurate, inconsistent between videos, or occasionally wrong outright.
- No recruiting or performance outcomes: The App does not guarantee that any coach, scout, program, or recruiter will view, evaluate, or act on your statistics, and we make no promises about tryouts, roster spots, scholarships, or recruitment outcomes of any kind.
- Not for official use: Do not rely on the App's metrics for official records, competitive eligibility, showcase submissions that require verified measurements, or any decision where a certified measurement is expected.
- Not training or medical advice: Insights and trends are informational only. The App does not provide coaching, biomechanical, or medical advice; consult qualified coaches and professionals, and train within your physical limits.
3. Eligibility, Minors & Parental Consent
- The App is designed for baseball and softball players, coaches, and scouts, and its community includes minors.
- Under 13: A child under 13 may only use the App with a parent or legal guardian's consent and involvement, consistent with our Privacy Policy and COPPA. Parents may review, edit, or delete a child's profile and data at any time (see our account deletion page).
- Under 18: Minors may use the App only with a parent or guardian's permission. Parents should review the App's public-visibility features (leaderboards, watchlists, location filtering) and the "Private Profile" setting with their child.
- Coaches and scouts must be adults (18+) and must use the App's discovery features only for legitimate coaching, team-management, or scouting purposes.
4. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, Adelyons Software LLC grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use one copy of the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use (or, for coaches and scouts, your ordinary team and scouting activities). This license does not transfer any ownership rights. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. The Service
Baseball Tracker provides AI-powered video analysis of pitch speed, bat/exit speed, and sprint speed; full-game video breakdowns; team and roster management; public leaderboards; and watchlist-based discovery connecting players with coaches and scouts. Videos you submit are processed in the cloud (including by Google's Gemini AI) as described in our Privacy Policy. Accounts are provided via Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or anonymous device sign-in.
6. Your Account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for activity that occurs under your account.
- Do not impersonate another person, claim an affiliation you do not have (e.g., posing as a coach or scout for an organization), or misstate a player's age.
- An anonymous account lives on your device sign-in; deleting the App or signing out may make an anonymous account unrecoverable.
- You can delete your account at any time — see our account deletion page.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the videos, photos, profile information, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting it, you grant Adelyons Software LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process (including AI analysis by our service providers), reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the App — including displaying your profile and metrics on leaderboards and to coaches/scouts as described in the Privacy Policy and controlled by your privacy settings.
- You must have the rights: Only upload video you recorded or have permission to use. If a video shows another identifiable person — especially a minor — you are responsible for having the consent (including parental consent) needed to upload it.
- Fair play: Do not upload doctored, sped-up, mislabeled, or otherwise manipulated video, or misrepresent whose performance a video shows. Falsified statistics undermine the leaderboard and will be removed.
- Removal: We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, degrades the service, or creates risk for other users — particularly minors.
8. Public Leaderboards & Discovery
Leaderboards are public within the App. Unless you enable Private Profile mode, your name, age bracket, position, approximate location, profile photo, and athletic metrics are visible to other users, including coaches and scouts, for ranking and recruitment discovery. Coaches/scouts who watchlist a player share their own name, location, and bio with that player.
You control this visibility with the Private Profile setting. Parents of minor players should review this setting with their child. See the Privacy Policy for full details on what is visible to whom.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, stalk, or send unwelcome contact to any user — above all, minor players;
- Use the App's discovery features for any purpose other than legitimate coaching, team management, or scouting;
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, or that exposes another person's private information;
- Cheat the leaderboard with manipulated video, fabricated stats, or multiple accounts;
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect other users' profiles, statistics, or videos;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App, except to the extent permitted by law;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's purchase, entitlement, or licensing mechanisms;
- Use the App in any unlawful way or to infringe the rights of others.
10. Subscriptions, Purchases & Billing
- Free tier: The App can be used for free with a limited number of AI analyses. Paid tiers unlock more.
- Pro (weekly, monthly, or yearly "Season Pass" subscription) unlocks unlimited AI clip analyses. Pro Max (monthly or yearly subscription) additionally unlocks full-game video upload and breakdowns.
- Consumables: One-time purchases (such as analysis packs or a single-game upload) unlock the stated feature once and do not renew.
- Pricing: Current prices, plan options, and any free-trial offer are always shown in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region and change over time.
- Free trials: Where a free trial is offered, it is disclosed at the point of purchase. A trial converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Store-managed billing: All purchases are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and managed there. We never see or store your payment-card details.
- Cancellation: Manage or cancel any subscription in your device's subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.
- Changes: We may change pricing or the features included in each tier with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, branding, software, and all content other than Your Content are owned by Adelyons Software LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App; they do not transfer any ownership rights.
12. Apple App Store — Additional Terms
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, and you acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are between you and Adelyons Software LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- The license granted is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. To the extent these Terms conflict with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), the Apple Licensed Application EULA governs for App Store downloads.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Any questions or support requests should be directed to us at dev@adelyons.com.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product-liability, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
13. Google Play — Additional Terms
If you download the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and in-app purchases are subject to Google Play's payment and refund policies.
14. Disclaimers & No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any speed estimate, statistic, insight, or breakdown will be accurate or complete, or that any player will be discovered, evaluated, or recruited through the App. See also Section 2.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelyons Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any personal injury, loss of data, loss of opportunity (including recruiting or scholarship opportunities), or loss of profits, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adelyons Software LLC from claims arising out of Your Content (including any claim that you lacked the rights or consents required to upload it), your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the App or of information about other users obtained through it.
17. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time, and you may delete your account and associated data as described on our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove your content, or hide you from leaderboards if you violate these Terms or if your use creates risk for other users. These Terms continue to apply to your prior use.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute not subject to the rules of the applicable app store will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, to the extent permitted by law.
